In a Truth Social post, Trump dismissed the bank's tariff impact analysis as "wrong," referencing a Goldman note suggesting consumers bore 20% of tariff costs—a figure that could rise to 67% if trends continue.

The president mocked Solomon's side career as a DJ, suggesting he focus on music instead of economics. Goldman Sachs declined to comment. This follows Trump's recent clash with Intel's CEO, showcasing his penchant for public executive confrontations during market-sensitive debates.
